Navarro Hardwood Artistry is a family-run flooring studio, founded in New England and now rooted in Charleston, SC — while still serving Boston. Thirty years of hardwood work, passed from father to sons, in every board we lay.

For more than thirty years, our family has been laying, sanding, and finishing hardwood floors across New England. What began as our father's trade became our own — Gabriel Navarro and his brother grew up watching, then working, and eventually running the shop side by side.
In recent years we brought that craft south, planting new roots in Charleston, South Carolina — without ever leaving the homes and neighborhoods we've served in Boston for a lifetime. It's a small operation, on purpose. Two brothers. One family. Every floor, personal.
Solid and engineered hardwood, laid plank by plank with heirloom-grade precision.
Older floors, restored to their original beauty — dust-contained, hand-finished, timeless.
Bespoke color matching in warm, natural tones — from Charleston cypress to Boston walnut.
A gentle refresh between refinishings — bring back the glow without the full restoration.
Board replacement, water damage, gaps and squeaks — repaired so the seam disappears.
Durable, budget-friendly installations laid with the same craft as our hardwoods.
Careful tear-out and disposal — a clean canvas for the new floors underneath.

We come to you — measure, listen, and look at the wood in your light.
A clear proposal: species, finish, timing, and price. No pressure.
Our two-brother crew on site, doing the work ourselves — start to finish.
We walk every board with you. Only done when you say it's done.
"Gabriel and his brother refinished 1,200 square feet of original heart pine. They treated our home like it was their own. The floors look one hundred years younger."
"We had three quotes for a full install in our Beacon Hill condo. Navarro was the only crew that talked about the wood itself — grain, moisture, the room's light. It shows in the finish."
"Custom stain match on a hallway repair — invisible seam. These are old-school craftsmen with an artist's eye."

We don't consider a job complete until you love the way it looks. If something isn't right, we'll make it right — adjustments, touch-ups, or a rethink — until you're proud to walk on it.
If the finish, color, or details aren't what you envisioned, we'll work with you until they are.
We do a final walkthrough together. Only when you sign off does the job wrap.
Every board is installed to hold up — and to look beautiful — for years to come.
Every project starts with a conversation and a walk-through — on us. Tell us what you're imagining, or call and we'll pick up.
